I do not think that there is one kid that has never collected a sports card. whether it is baseball or football, boxing or basketball, at one time or another we have all started a collection. For many people the joy of collecting sports cards extends into adulthood.
We may no longer swap cards in the schoolyard but we have a much bigger schoolyard now..ebay. everyday hthousands of people buy and sell sports cards, whether it is to complete a collection or to buy that elusive rookie card you will probably find a the card you are looking for online. There are a large number of collectors making a lot of money by finding good quality cards in garage and yard sales then selling them on ebay.
One of the most often asked questions is which brand of cards are best. There is no answer to this. more people collect Topps cards because they are the largest manufacturer but others like to collect Bowman cards as there are a large percentage of rookies included.Other brands like Upper Deck, Fleer, Donruss, and Pacific will also have aspects to them that make them more desirable to some collectors.
